VIRGINIA EMCEE INTALEK IS TEAMING WITH PRODUCER RITCHCRAFT TO COME TOGETHER AND BRING THE WORLD THE “LIVES AND VIBES” EP.

On July 5, 2010 Intalek and Ritchcraft will be releasing their joint collaboration the Lives and Vibes EP. These two met while both were networking over Twitter and created a musical bond. Over the course of one month, this marvelous EP was crafted. With this project you will become witness to what can happen when an artist and producer can come together and deliver high quality music.

If Virginia is looking for difference in music, it exists here in a 23-year-old hip-hop seeker named Intalek (pron. "intellect"). In the huge melting pot of Hampton Roads sounds (like the bouncy, space-infused vision of N.E.R.D or the more brash, street lyrics of hometown hero Quan), Intalek stands amongst the slightly altered, slightly indifferent genre that blends them all. A breed of uncommon and out-of-the-box dwellers, he credits the likings of the golden age hip-hop '90s as his musical influences, although he touches base with the present worldly. Intalek has created a retrospect and vision in and through his lyrics only he sometimes understands. He has an uncanny swagger and knack for "letting music write itself" that can be heard in his delivery and his strength in wordplay over beats.

Ritchcraft began producing at age sixteen and has gradually improved his production skills through experimenting and reading up on different ways to enhance the musicality and quality of my music via the internet. Ritchcraft has also released collaboration Remix Album (Frootloops) and a solo Remix EP (Say It Ain't So) and also another solo remix project (The Big Band Blueprint).
