So here we go. The first official leak from the upcoming album God's Favorites which drops on iTunes on 11/17. It was hard for me to pick particular leak tracks from this album because it flows as one complete story and each song is like a scene in a movie. So it's hard to pull a single song out and put it out there as a representation of what the album is about or how it sounds. This song, "The Fly", is towards the end of the album and it's about a hustler's peak. That point where he's at his highest right before the inevitable fall. I tried to re-create that feeling of hollow success. Knowing that it's coming to an end anyday and just trying to absorb it all in before the lights go out.
